  8. I need advise on asbestos removal..?

    August 28, 2010, 1:45 am
I just hired someone to remove asbestos floor tiles in my basement and i left the house and now i'm back home, and what i can see on the ground is the black glue and all windows are open.. I'm just a person who doesn't know anything about asbestos and I wanna make sure this is proper removal, there's dusty white choke-like material on the floor and there's an adore that i've never smelled before. please if you're a professional in the business give me an advise on what to do.. I'm guessing the black glue does have asbestos residue.. and how do i handle the situation, i paid half of the project.. should i contact the police ? what should I do? this person is obviously not taking it seriously .. should I take it seriously? it's in my basement, should i move away? how much exposure is too much... too many questions, who should i ask? he said he's licensed, but he's got the handyman attitude and the "its fine" remarks..
